Our New Deer Park Facility
GOLDEN has recently moved into brand-new facility in Deer Park, Texas.
The facility, completed in January. has a large office area, a
state-of-the-art laboratory, and an instrument repair shop.
It also provides a huge warehouse area for construction and maintenance of
trailers, and equipment and supply storage.

A ribbon-cutting
and building dedication ceremony for the new facility was held
on Earth Day, April 22nd. Many well-wishers turned out for the
event which included a BBQ luncheon, live music and vendor displays.

FTIR Capabilities
GOLDEN currently offers a new state-of-the-art method for monitoring
emissions – the Extractive Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy or
“FTIR”. This method of source monitoring allows the monitoring of
several gases at one time utilizing a single instrument.
The FTIR will measure any compound that absorbs light energy in the
appropriate infrared regions. It will provide a “picture” of the total
absorption spectrum of the sampled over a broad spectral range.
By utilizing a library of spectra the sample may be analyzed for both
qualitative and quantitative data, giving the instrument virtually
unlimited capabilities.
