Testing
At Golden Specialty, our goal is to provide the highest quality source emissions testing data in the business. State-of-the-art equipment, redundant testing systems, exclusive dual-point inspection, and rapid response capabilities mean our expert personnel are able to meet your most demanding expectations.
We extend our high standards to the reporting of your test data:
- Fast – documentation is prepared within 7 business days of the completion of testing or receipt of outside lab results.
- Accurate – reports are carefully reviewed for quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Convenient – reports can be provided in electronic format upon request
Redundant Monitoring
GOLDEN’s commitment to data accuracy is exemplified by our use of calibration gases whose analytical accuracy, as guaranteed by the manufacturer, exceeds that required by EPA Protocol No. 1 specifications. Additionally, as part of GOLDEN’s standard operating procedures, an extra check of the accuracy of the measurement system to be used is performed. This is done just prior to beginning the test runs. A redundant comparative check of three different gas stream parameters is made. This represents quality control and assurance beyond any existing EPA gaseous emissions sampling method requirements.
Emissions Testing
We offer on-site emissions testing from stationary sources domestically and internationally, from Alaska to Zimbabwe and anywhere in between.
Mobile Laboratories
Our advanced mobile testing laboratories are outfitted with the latest equipment and technologies, which allow us to provide a combination of real-time results for numerous pollutants as well as all the traditional “wet” testing.
Redundant Testing
Redundant testing systems enable our expert personnel to optimize data quality, provide system backup of analysis, or sample two sources
Typical Systems and Programs
We provide testing services for a wide variety of typical systems and programs:
- CEMS - Continuous Emissions Monitoring System
- PEMS – Predictive Emissions Monitoring System
- NSPS – New Source Performance Standards
- NESHAP – National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants
- MACT – Maximum Achievable Control Technology
- NOx Budget Program
- BIF – Boilers and Industrial Furnaces
- RACT – Reasonably Available Control Technology
- BACT – Best Available Control Technology
